Just bought this setup for 77 quid as an interim measure. I need a compact lightweight tripod that can handle a 5dmk2 and 24-105. Will this suffice? Ideally I'm after the carbon fibre befree tripod but I'm saving myself 150 quid with this measure.

    Cheers,

    Dempletron.

Not a bad tripod, held my 6d and 24-105 quite well, the lower legs are a bit thin though and do flew slightly. The ball head isn't really up to it. I put a 322rc2 grip head on mine, still have the grip head if you need it.

I originally had it for sale on here for £60 posted or collected with £10 going to the forum. A mate said he would have it so I removed the listing, but he changed his mind so I still have it. I use a Nest Carbon tripod with Frotto X pro head so I don't need it.
