Hello everyone, this is my first report on an explore. You'll also have to take into consideration my awful photography and quality, as well as that this was my second time exploring and the first time I was really on edge. Without further a do, this is my report:

History: From what I've been told the gentleman who owned this small house/cottage by the canal in Chorley was in the process of selling it in order to move into a care home when he died and the sale halted in its tracks and so the building has since been abandoned.

    How it happened and pictures:

Upon arriving we parked almost right next to it, down a long drive with a fence at the bottom. We simply strolled past the fence to walk alongside the canal which is completely open to the public and used by a lot of dog walkers during the day. The house was just sat to the side of the canal set quite far back, with a fence across the side of the back garden (or so) we simply pulled it forwards to allow us to squeeze through. Right after the fence we were greeted by a lovely sign as seen below-

So as expected we wandered inside the rear door of the house, the first room was a very small long and tight kitchen still with a cooker in it. The room was absolutely trashed with stuff everywhere-

After this we walked into the next room, it was too trashed to tell what it was but possibly the front hallway (I didn't take any pics, I apologise) other than this paint can...

At the far side of the room their was a door, with some writing on it...

So obviously we walked into the room in order to find...

An exercise bike, books, crayons, an old cassette tape, an empty book case, a set of draws and a general mess...

This room was a dead end, we turned back into the front hallway and turned left at the end where I nearly walked into my favourite picture of the explore...

Along with this we found a toilet, now I need a wee whilst writing this... Brb...

We walked up the stairs and found... Multiple beds, half a roof, the other half of the roof on the floor... A bath tub, a desk and more...

Now for the most anticipated room (I had been told the house was regularly used by druggies and drunks to get high and inject without being disturbed, if anyone was going to be in here, it was this room. So we walked in to find a table full of candles, a broken chair and a mirror. It was all quite creepy (for my first real explore).

And so it ended and we decided to get out after a few more pictures.

Thanks for reading everyone, again I apologise for the terrible picture quality and by awful report but I hope you find it interesting and at least something to do before planning your next explore. See you in my next report shortly :)
