Hi All, I didn't get much luck on the newbie section - Either theirs nobody from North Wales here or I came across as a tit.

Anyways this is my first report....

    Access: open
Location: Llangollen to Barmouth line N. Wales (not found on the locations map)
    Date visited: around March 2016

Known locally as the Blair Witch House, the building sits on an old railway station that was part of the beeching axes, the station platform can still be seen in part through the overgrowth. and an oak stair case leads down from the bridge above allowing site access. The station house has been dismantled but you can still find all the brick work and corner stones in the undergrowth. Two well kept bridges are present on the track that leads out toward Barmouth, this track then continues to a tunnel a mile or so further on . - the tunnel can be walked, but is fenced off and on private land.

    Oak steps:

The Blair Witch house was once a bungalow (early 50s design) and consists only of four walls, a roof and two rooms. The floor is littered with VHS tapes (mostly German porn) and the walls are covered in graffiti. There is also two chairs, one in each room. By the way it was pissing down when I last visited so I took all my shots in a crazy HDR - not normally something I do, but I wanted to experiment .

    The house:

That house does not deserve to the title of Blair Witch House, nowhere near creepy enough. Good effort fella but just so you know HDR is ever so slightly frowned upon on here, I reckon this place would look much better at nighttime anyway...

Yeah I'm not all that keen on HDR either, but I'm surprised it's frowned on. I know this isn't a photography site but still..

    Trolling... That's pretty harsh mate

Yeah it was a wank attempt at HDR but it's not about photography so what's it matter. I will avoid the LSD photoshoots from here on in

It's not about the photography but we have to be able to tell what we're looking at.
