So, the booking hall at Aldwych station is open again for a brief exhibition,

offering a rare public viewing of its 1907 interior, its tiled walls hidden behind posters promoting TFL and raising awareness of the merits of the various schemes it dreamt up to spend public money before the new Government says "Sorry! There's no money left."

Exit corridor, rarely used by public

Closed in 1994 but still regularly hired out for filming as the posters explain.

Second lift, seen through doors connecting the two lifts (behind panel with pink poster) and offering a glimpse down the lift shaft if you take a torch.

I was talking to a colleague who is staffing one of the displays yesterday and she said "all people keep asking is whether they can get downstairs to see the platforms". (and the answer is no unfortunately).
