Anyone who was out on Thursday night would have seen the first incredible sky in a long while. No smog, no clouds just clear starry skies, a full moon and a sunrise that would make any emotional man cry.

After the epic waste of time known as landmark i needed something that felt more like London .Well there isn't a great deal. Theres plenty of cranes but the vast majority are small and most dont even top the roofs of adjacent buildings.

We had to do something anything would do we just needed to make good on this sky. We had a breif attempt at seiken, but its clear that explorers have pissed off these people now with cameras all around the site and one on the flipping crane itself pointing at the ladders. Now i dont know if there monitored or not but it wasnt worth the risk.

Instead we headed across the road up near kingsway to another site almost the same size. Over the fence we went, narrowly avoiding the foot deep anti climb grease they had dumped everywhere and up the crane. Bingo.

Ok so its no AXA tower but the views were still worth the climb to your east you had the docklands, city and tower bridge and to the west you had parliament, the wheel and Westminster. All this with the curved Aldwych road underneath for some light trails.

I wanted to spend more time here, but as we only started up at 3am it was already getting light by the time we were on the top.

And finally one of the sunrise, we just had to stop for this even on a bridge!
