Barely tall enough to make it into the High Stuff section, madspof and I had both been keeping an eye on two cranes towards the end of last year.

Driving towards whatever else that night, as soon as they hit our eyeline to the left, they became our only thought. Quick conversation, and we were about to go and climb our first crane.

We knew roughly where they were, and a quick drive around Hillfields showed us the best way in.
The amount of noise we made on entrance (and music we played from up the crane) compared to how near the security guard was for a building across the road - didn't add up.
How, or why he didn't spot us, I have no idea.

A late report and some underwhelming photographs might become a running theme over my next few posts. Never-the-less; I have been encouraged to post up, so please bear with me.

Thanks to madspof for leading the way into and through the building site. This crane and the other have gone now, but raised a smile well into this year each time I passed them.
