Lead or Rumour info - anybody know if these tunnels are open

    I was watching this video and around the 3:40 mark he mentions a 50 mile network of tunnels near Worsley that were used to bring coal to Manchester. does anyone know if theses tunnels are still accessible or if they have all been blocked off

    I wouldn't get anything out, the air in the dukes is supposed to be quite toxic

    According to Altairs link it was surveyed in 1999 with no mention of bad air,would it just naturally build up over time ? I presume it all depends on how well the shafts and adits have been sealed.
