    Thanks Dicky, Town Hall on my door step this one, but havent found access (yet). Not very inspiring 60's and 80's builds, saw plenty of them when sorting out the constantly wrongly calculated council tax.

    I used to do some work there. Nasty ugly concrete and, no doubt, asbestos riddled place.

    Ha, I searched for Bedford Town Hall and saw a lovely old building....guess it must have been another Bedford... Having been to Bedford UK, I should have known!

    The (old) nice front bit is now in use for council tax, information etc.

    No, the nice bit referred to is listed and has been refurbished and in use for council info, council fook ups etc.

    The demolition of the rest of the town hall starts Monday (27th). Work on demo of the bus station starts on the same day. Knowing this council both sites will be redeveloped to a lower standard than what was there before.
