There is no better way to spend a free day than going exploring, which was exactly what me and @phoenixflight did the other day. Took a little hike in the middle of nowhere in the woods to visit the so called Beekeepers cottage. The entry is easy, with a warning of CCTV, which is either long gone or never was there in the first place. Seeing some pictures online before, I was slightly gutted that the place is getting more and more trashed, lots of things missing, even though it still has that eerie feeling and there are still awesome corners to be photographed.

The history of this site is rather sad. The family who lived there lost their little boy at the age of 6. The photographs of the family that I've seen in other reports are sadly gone, I haven't seen them anywhere around, even though the personal papers and letters and other things are still there.

Here are some pictures that I snapped. Enjoy.

Hi mate. Check the date. I serious don't think it's worth your time. The chap that lived there moved out in 2007 and the house was wrecked then. My photos are from 2012. Nearly four years ago. Id be gobsmacked if it's still standing.

That's not going to happen, so I would not sit by your inbox waiting for any information.

Your first two posts have been about asking people to provide you with an address of a site, which in all honesty is not the best start you could have made.

This is a community, you share things with people and they will share things with you. Until you have shown some sort of participation on the site, you won't find people helping you out with these sorts of requests.

My best advice is for you to pop up an introduction thread in the new members section, explaining a bit about yourself, what sorts of sites you are interested in and that sort of thing, post up some reports of places you have already visited and you will find people being a lot more helpful in terms of finding out about places.

I'm new on here but I used a bit of common sense and local knollage to and peoples previous pictures on this site to track this place down , will also be visiting st crispins hospital that's a abandoned Lunatic Asylum in Northampton very soon . But beekeeper cottage is a must see , it's really not hard to find it's like a min from the car park and is near little hampden that's all the info I will give you as if u wanna find these places u gotta go looking 100%

Very good advice there, I have no idea why more new people can't be like this when it comes to finding places.

I suspect you have wasted your time though sadly, as it looks like Abbbbiiii has either decided to leave the forum, or realized where she went wrong, as she has tried to change her initial comments.

Thank you for trying your best there though :)

We'll it's a very secluded site and still intact. I spent about 3 weeks researching and looking for this place and it was only at the weeken we found it by accident took a wrong turn well turned out to be the right one lol , truly amazing place tho , worth the effort and research , so rewarding I will put a thread up later with pics as soon as I can get onto my laptop , thank you for welcoming me into your site, many thanks Sam

The golf has been put there by local authority's if u reg check it u will see it's mot is still valid till September but has no tax , unfortunaly I know ppl have been there as the licence plate was on the back of the golf and now it's been ripped of and chucked in the bush ajacent to the golf, , it's been put out there to keep ppl away from the site or to deter ppl , won't be long till that is smashed up like the jag ,
