Apologies for taking so long to say hi, I'm a lazy bugger.

My interest with Urbex sparked when I saw some photos of Imber uploaded by a friend on Facebook. I happened to spot them while it was open so myself and my girlfriend shot over and had a good mooch around. After visiting Imber we began looking into similar places and eventually stumbled upon 28DL. We have tried visiting a few ROC posts but all have either been demolished or locked tight.

I currently live in Bradford on Avon so Browns Folly is not far. A huge thank you to another member on here for giving me a guided tour around last week. I won't tag you to avoid your inbox being flooded by more people like me ;)

I do have a quadcopter rig so feel free to fire me questions if it's something you'd like to get into.

My other interest is motorbikes. I did a 2.5K mile tour of France and Italy last month and saw bloody loads of derelict buildings but couldn't stop for too long as we were on quite a tight time schedule.

I'm planning on a trip to Swan Mine this weekend so I may pop up a report if I can take any half decent photos. I had planned on getting a DSLR for a few years but ended up getting a Sony RX100M2 purely for the form factor as lugging a DSLR around on a bike isn't fun.

Just realised how long this is compared to most introductions. I'll lie to myself and say that's a good thing :coat

It's ok you are allowed to own up to it being me showing you around.

Anyways there are open ROC posts in the area... try Alderbury, Amesbury and Avebury in that order. As for Swan Mine, simply typing typing in "Swan Mine survey" into Google will give you the map you will need. Be careful, the roof is not stable in places, especially at the first obvious roof fall - use the little detour path that goes around it. And use the locations map in here to find other underground stuff - although there is not much open at the moment.
