Met with Ojay for a spring evening of arsing about, then we bumped into (arranged to meet later) Viral Eye and Snake Oil. Big Humpty is one of many culverted sections of The River Medlock, this one in particular being extremely over engineered to carry the unnecessarily wide road and ex railway line above. It outfalls into what would become known as The Red River, on account of the thousands of bricks used in it's construction. Built in the early 1900's, it's only short but it's got some serious girth. Been in here many times, always really peaceful and a decent little stroll. Literally, a walk in the park.

    Building The Red River.
