As Urbanginger has already done the history on this one, I get off lightly and just get to stick a few pics up :D

An epic late night mission to the local airport sees, Urbanginger and myself in flat out (literally) Ninja mode crawling through long grass to avoid detection by the security detail which is driving around the compounds, after a bit of a horizontal wait in knee high grass we decide it's time to move before the next patrol, so a quick low jog around to the other side of the place and a bit of a vault and we find ourselves dwarfed underneath the massive structure of a Boeing 747 airliner. Access sorted, we're in and making sure no light can escape to give us away, the rest as they say is pure FUN! :D

    Sooo on with the pics...

Odd thing to find in a galley but it does kinda lead into some of the more interesting stuff that we found lying around.

Stone me, another one, I think from the galley again, seems to me to be fire-proof hoods, please correct me if I'm wrong, just seem out of place?

Quick tour of the plane itself.

And the most interesting bit, the cockpit, which I could have spent ages in but it's a bit dodgy shining lights in the cockpit of an abandoned airliner in the middle of an airport really :p:

That's it from this one poppet type peeps, I really could spend hours on planes, oh wait, we did spend hours on it, but it neeeds more hours, especially in the cockpit which is phenominal, how they understand what all those button/switches & lights do beggars belief.

Hope you enjoyed the pics. :)

This is awesome. Does anyone know if this is still there? Would love to get some shots myself.
