A fantastic 19th century press hall, famous for it's nib production. Today it is in a severe state of dereliction, but retains much of it's charactor. Lots of damage since my last visit, and lots of needles around, which was a bit gross. Upstairs was pretty much unchanged.

Today I discovered a cellar I had never seen before, which looks as though it had been blocked off when the works was still in use. There was piles of pen handles, and even Victorian bottles down there, which made the filthy crawl to reach it well worth while!

Treasures of the new cellar! A hartley's jam pot, an enamal shop sign advertising silver polish, a "sheared top" medicine bottle, and a pile of "dip" pen handles!!
