It is estimated that the building was constructed between 1890-92

For around 15 years I have passed this house, watching it fall apart and get lost in history. So recently myself and a fellow urbexer decided that enough is enough and we had to finally find a way in. I hadn't seen any posts on the internet from anyone who had gone in there before. So we had nothing to go off except our own wits. The house was as expected. Rotting floors, collapsed ceilings and full of pigeons.

This was some kind of sub-basement area.

The floors were as functional as an ashtray on a motorcycle

These are the stairs going to the second floor of the house, upon leaving we realised that there was in fact three floors to the house... Or so we thought. The third floor had collapsed onto the second and that answered the mystery.

A lovely print of a ship on the fireplace. Sadly vandalised.

The exterior was completely retaken by nature.

This was an exterior building which we are assuming was some kind of greenhouse.

And that concludes the trip to Brentwood.

A Nice old building mate, it looks like someone ran out of cash part way through a restoration.

It is definitely beautiful on the outside. Shame about the inside. Especially the vandalism on the fireplace.
