In May of 2011 Jos and visited this briquette factory

    Here some info:
When in 1960 the dismantling of the hard coal industry started, a coal excavating history in this region known since 1386 went to an end. This is a briquette factory for the production of briquettes build in 1906. In this works briquettes were compressed and dried brown coal extruded into hard blocks: a common technique for low rank coals.and are primarily used as a fuel in household and industry in those days.
