Old British Gas Office in Leeds.

Not much history on the building that I can find, except that it was built in the 1960s and is/was the 21st tallest building in Leeds.

It was a building site, and I presume if it hasn't already been knocked down, it will be gone in the next few weeks.

Not much really to say about it, the views were nice but wish we'd have gone at night...

If its still there, do it! They had demolition targets for the lasers all over the place and plant machinery already on site, so I bet it'll be gone before too long. Be really careful of Asbestos, its in the tiles piled up on every floor.

As far as I know. The demo maps will be for strip out, not actually dropping the entire structure.

It does, I've seen loads of pictures of it at night and it looks beautiful! Will probably be making a trip again in next few weeks.

Yeah that makes more sense. I was doubting the fact they'd be able to drop it without damaging any near buildings, and they'd have to completely close the main road it's on. It seemed unlikely they'd do either. Do you know what hotel they're changing it to?
