This was my very first explore, and therefore my very first report! Rather than visiting somewhere that I'd seen from other Urbex reports I decided to try a location that I'd come across through my own research. I haven't found much about the history of the farm I'm afraid, but from what I can gather it's been empty since circa 2006. The farm, its buildings and surrounding land are currently for sale for approx £1m.

I didn't know what to expect from this explore, but it exceeded my modest expectations for a first time out, and I was especially pleased that I was able to access the farmhouse itself. I explored with Dora P, aka Mrs X.

    Anyway, on with the report...

Imagine my surprise when I came across this beauty. The vehicle tax disc expired in 2006.

    Mmmm, peeling paint...

This was the only room which showed any real signs of vandalism. It was at this stage that we heard a vehicle pull up near to the farmhouse, followed my beeping of a car horn, and some voices. We thought that we had been rumbled, so dashed around so as to at least get a shot or two from the remaining rooms which hadn't been explored. However, after about ten minutes it became obvious that the noise wasn't directed at us, and we were able to conclude our explore of the farmhouse interior in peace.
