This large textile mill has sat abandoned in the centre of Aberdeen for several years now, and with it's large chimney and two towers, is a prominent landmark. Met up with Lost again to have a proper look round and get up the tower.

It's really quite vandalised with a lot of broken windows, but little arson. A development company appear to be drilling bore holes, but I don't know what for.

No idea really on the history of the place, the company operating there was "Richards of Aberdeen", and they made natural and synthetic yarns. It also appears they made carpet. The buildings seem to date from pre-1890 through 1921 to much more modern concrete block buildings.

The site appears to be covered in a narrow-guage track for barrows, including inside and upper floors, with turntables and lifts. Also, a small amount of line shaft still exists, but there is evidence there is lots more.
