Well I hope its a different view....

My original City target was a bit too hot tonight....and I swear I saw another UrbExer floating around it...(Very close by to this one..if it was you..PM me , I have useful intel) so I walked...over to this beauty

Its my third visit here...but my first with a camera ;)
Weather wasnt really playing ball...quite cloudy, quite windy and flurries of rain...so the usual cityscapes were off the menu..
There's an awful lot of light around the top, creating all sorts of reflections/colours off the beams/structures...so decided to try and make the best use of it..:thumb

Top of the structure...500ft...a bit too windy for a beam walk this visit

Beam junction.....I checked...all the bolts are in place ;)

The central crane bolted to the top level.....the highest point on this construction....much to my dismay...the hatch to the platform is padlocked shut.

'Westside' face....(said in my best Ali G voice...)

Beam walk over the city...during a break in the weather
    [IMG]

Exposed stairs to the upper levels..

On the edge...wet and low clouds over the city in the background
    [IMG]

Bishopsgate development, well underway and far below
    [IMG]

The Southside Crane is a MONSTER...goes from the ground all the way past the top...thats at least 550ft....it too is padlocked shut at the top

Several collars hold this baby to the building....even so it was swaying quite a bit in the winds....the hatch up top was locked...but I was glad to get off this the way it was moving around

Lots of lights and lots of safety notices/hardware on this building.....

This is a spectacular building...The highest under construction (currently) in London.
