Visited with H1971 during our girly weekend :)

After the first rather funny fail, next day we decided to try again :) Broadoaks Residence (listed building - grade II) is a part of Broadoaks Estate alongside with Coach House, East and West Lodge and Dairy.

Bit of history (stolen from H report :))
Built in 1876 by Ernest Seth-Smith for his elder brother Charles, incorporating part of an older house on the ground floor, in 1898 the house was sold to Sir Charles Tennant, wealthy industrialist and patron of the arts who, aged 75, had just married his 2nd wife Marguerite who was to bear him 4 children. The main Tennant property was in Scotland but this house appears to be an out of London house for entertaining, Surrey becoming very popular at the time. The brewery owning Charrington family owned Broadoaks from 1911 to 1946 when it was sold to the Ministry of Supply. In 1948 it housed the Army Operational Research Group and was in military occupation until 1996.

Hi there I am a reporter for Get Surrey, I am creating gallery articles on abandoned and derelict buildings in Surrey. Would we be able to use your pictures, with full credit, for the website? If so I can be contacted via email on amani.hughes@trinitymirror.com or on 01483 508815. Many Thanks.

I am just interesting in creating a gallery on some of the abandoned buildings in Surrey. I am hoping to seek permission from the people who took the photographs, which is why I am posting a comment on each report and each building I am interested in including on our website.

This is a forum so I was just hoping to communicate with those who took the photographs and to give them coverage on Get Surrey, and to perhaps interview them on their experience of visiting these buildings and include their pictures on our website, will full credit to them.

'Get Surrey' sounds like an invitation to contract a genitourinary infection. Just saying

You've now posted the same message 14 times. Although I appreciate you trying to do this, it's just spam when you post it so many times. I don't mind you doing it by Private Messages though, so I'll sort that for you OK.

Ok sorry I did not mean to spam the website, thank you, if you could help me with private messages, that would be greatly appreciated.
