I wasn't happy with my pictures from here on my last visit so I was happy to be heading back to the area

This Victorian block was added to the main complex of the former Ffestiniog Union Workhouse

The vagrants' ward accommodation included six combined sleeping/work cells where inmates slept on wire metal beds without a mattress. The work cells were used for stone-breaking and had metal grids at the outside through which broken stone was passed when its pieces were of a small enough diameter.

Wow that place looks more like a old prison than a hospital very bizarre and quite unusual. I really liked your photos had a very spooky feel. I watched your video and it was ok but my only negative was if your not going to talk over what your seeing - put a peice of music on top as its better than listening to old motors that sound like there just about to spew the guts lol.
Just as a example if you had put mike oldfields - tublar bells soundtrack on top - i think your video would have improved by ten times.
thanks for sharing i did enjoy it bar the whirring motors.

Cheers everyone, it's a decent place and well worth a visit

I would normally put music on but it's only 3 minutes so what I've done is put the last thing I was listening to over the top ;)

It was three minutes long so it was either that or Bloodhound Gang and kiss me where it smells funny

I can't see it having power for much longer, looking through the windows and there's still loads of stuff inside

Yeah that alarm and the building opposite wouldn't be a fun combo!
