After meeting at the train station at Daft o' clock in the morning we headed to chorley were we would visit Camelot Theme park and Latvian Consulate. We made the necessary stop for a Subway and to the shop for cigs and we were on our way. We walked 4 and half miles from chorley town centre to Camelot, access was really easy. We were mooching round for about two hours when we were approaching the main rollercoaster we clocked a car parked outside, after a while of debating whether there was someone sat in it or not we went for it and decided to climb the coaster. We did this and all was well and good, so we sat down at the jousting area to have something to eat only to see the security guard walk down the big stairs towards us, and after reading previous reports, we had gathered this guy was sick and tired of photographers, and he was.. He seemed pissed off enough to chase us with a metal bar in his hand, he was screaming at us yelling stuff like "You lot better hope i don't catch you!" so we scrambled back over the fence and left him to stare us off the park, just a warning, this guy is a dick! :wanker

    History:
The park opened in 1983 and was operating seasonally until late 2012. The park was based on the story of 'Camelot, King Arthur and the Knights of the Round Table'.
Camelot had seen a downturn in attendance in later years, in 1995, Camelot's attendance was 500,000 visitors throughout the season. In 2005 Camelot's attendance was only 336,204 visitors. The closure of the park was announced by its operator, Knights Leisure, in November 2012, the managing director blaming poor summer weather and events such as London 2012 and the Queen's Jubilee for declining visitor numbers. Today, some rollercoasters were sold (for example Whirlwind bought by the German "Skyline Park")

You can't tell what is graffiti, and what is part of the ride.

After being chased out of the park by the lunatic that was the security guard, we headed over to Latvian Consulate, very convenient as it is just across the road from Camelot.
This place is HUGE, it includes a swimming pool, jaccuzi, snooker table, a balcony, 3 sets of spiral stairs and even has it's own stables in the back. Has more bathrooms than rooms. This place looks like abit of a smack den, with needles lying around, and with such easy access, would attract that kind of people, after having a mooch around the house for around 45 minutes we ventured thorugh the stables and admired the house from the garden only to bump into the police :( At first glance we thought they were a couple of bag heads so we were going to run, but we didn't and when they came over said "Why were you going to run away" and i had to make the blunt reply of "I thought you were a smack head" they asked us what we were doing and i said "Taking photos" and he asked to look at my camera, so i showed him the pictures and they took or details and we were on our way, nice guys though.

I could literally find no history behind this place.
