Report - Cane Hill Asylum 11-1-2009

    Yes “another†cane report …I still don’t think you can have too much of this place and could happily walk its corridors and stairwells for weeks and still every square inch would have something to catch my eye.

    Once again apologies to those with slow t’intranet for the number of pictures. Having scanned the Cane archives of 28DL and other UrbEx/Derelict sites (not forgetting of course Simon Cornwells site) It was almost like being star struck “Ah! I know this room!â€

    We were quite keen to see Vincent/Vanburgh, saw it last time but minus daylight. I wanted also to see Lettsom to see how the pool table and orange curtains were doing, could only see it momentarily last time ‘cos workmen were there. But like last time we only hit the Wesley area as the daylight was fading so was able to try my first night shots, (pics 23-30)

    As for the images, still a newbie to ‘photogaphicalness’ but I’ve got to say, one hell of a place to learn!
