Cefn Coed is a small independant museum. The headstocks are in a dire state, and are screaming for a coat of paint. We climbed the first with no problem, but I was half way up the down cast when a man began shouting. I quickly ran to the top and got my pictures before being greeted with him at the bottom. He was a museum staff, and very sound. He said he had called the police, and we had better go but I doubt he did because he called us back to show us some plans of the headstocks!

The council are making it hard for the museum, the guy we spoke to just kept saying "look at the state of the place". In one building, the glass had been taken out of the windows and replaced with a huge sheet of perspex covering the whole iron frame... gash!

Seens a housing developer will save the stocks when they develop the ground next to them, so I thing all will end well... as for the museum the future is not as bright. If your in the area I reccomend it to anyone.
