I intended to visit the place soon and thought I'd take a look at the area. It appears most of it has now been demolished and only the front building remains, which is nothing more than an empty shell.

It wasn't the biggest or most interesting of sites but worth noting that it isn't there anymore.

It's been on my to do list but its not very local so I haven't had a chance to have a proper look until recently.

A friend went around July and it was still standing, she was under the impression it was still standing which is why we went to check it out.

There are a few places I have kicked myself for not visiting immediately, then finding the scaff is gone or the building demolished. Carpe diem :thumb

There is nothing worse than the one that got away. i've just recently learned of the demise of the Workhouse admin block and dining hall at New Cross Hospital in Wolverhampton. It even had a clock tower. It was easily missed as the maternity unit hid the building from the road. You just wouldn't have known it was there.
