Report - Chester Lead Works 05/05/07

    Not a lot remains of the works now only the tower and a couple of roofles buildings (they are grade 2 listed), access was easy and no on site security. The bottem of the ladder has been taken away but its not that hard to get up to and make your way to the top some of the hand rails and foot plates are missing but it was a great climb.The tower is 183 feet tall and is the oldest lead tower in the country. (i think)
