This small article is in the new edition of the Cinema Theatre Association's May/June edition of their bullitin. It was passed onto me by a friend.

There have been several reports recently about 'Urban Explorers'. These are people who break into boarded-up buildings, with no malicious intent but simply to visit, document and photograph. Whilst we cannot endorse their activities, the pictures are quite interesting. Their conquests include several former cinemas including:
The Odeon/robins Camberley, Lonsdale City Carlisle, Odeon Nottingham, Odeon Bradford, Odeon Cheltenham, Roxy Oldham, Essoldo/ABC Tunbridge Wells, BeauNash/ABC Bath, Ritz/ABC Wigan, Regal Bacup, ABC Liverpool, Ritz Lincon, ABC Catford, ABC/Safari Croydon, ABC Wakefield and ABC Leicester.

You can find others by browsing the site [www.28dayslater.co.uk] and going to <Leisure sites>.

It's ok apart from the "people who break into buildings" line. Perhaps gain entry would have been better!
