Just to confirm, total no go now, 18ft Electric fence powered by a generator the size of a shipping container, PIR's, CCTV which I can confirm is monitored when some woman started screaming out of a tannoy saying she was watching us and Frank had been deployed in his C reg Escort with autorisation to activate his amber beacons and even shine his torch at us if we were not compliant.... anyway, tight as a ducks fudge box so don't waste your time.

out of interest, what's happened with the underground workings here? all reports have been on the headstocks and not the mine itself...

The shallowest workings were sunk in the 20's to exploit the Tophard seam, about 580m deep. The Barnsley seam was the one they were mining when the pit closed, that's about a kilometre down. :)
