Just posting this for the record really. Can't say I was that impressed, or should I say, it didn't meet expectations. It was very much like West Middlesex, Bow etc which although good in their own right were quite modern inside.

Access is easy enough, easy to work it out. There's more than one way as well, that's for sure.

The pictures posted previously are very good, I've tried not to replicate too much...

The damage to the roof is incredible, how come we fear bending a piece of grass, when in fact you could get away with shit like this...

The mural, presented by the trolley service of the WRVS...

Admin. looking to the main doors....

The lead lined aprons in the x-ray department...

    In the basements...

The basement areas were fascinating. The remnants of one or more fetes, plus the new boilers and pipework. The lights are on in the tunnels and like someone said, at points they are very cramped and it's like playing twister, the asbestos version.

Patient records... throw 'em down the hatch...

and for gods sake, what's this...

    Big old boilers...

    and their fuel tanks...

The room next door was very green. See the window to observe the boilers...

Although only a little tower, you couldn't visit without going up...

Finally... the basement stores rammed full of records and x-rays, sadly burned and mainly damaged...
