Cowley Barracks closed in about 1959 - part of the site became UKWMO with the ROC Group HQ No.3 on site. Of the rest of the site most was redeveloped but two Victorian barrack blocks remained used by GPO Telephones and later BT. Those barrack blocks are due to start being demolished from 29 October according to the Oxford Times. No idea how original (or not) they are inside. Barrack wall surrounds most of the site with decrepit barbed wire on top.
