Quite easy to find, its on the hill behind the bowling club car park. Just look for telegraph pole.

Crail post was closed in late 1968, yet it has a master aerial fixing and mast support on the the ventilation shaft. Master posts equipping started in early 1968, so it is a good question whether Crail actually functioned as such. Post demolition in the Fife area means the replacement master post is a matter of speculation. I don't have a post map that covers Scotland post-1968, but Kelty might be a candidate.

Crail post retains some black paint. Leven post in the same area also has remains of black paint. That was also closed in 1968, so that may have been the chosen decor in this area around that time.

Entrance shaft. Firmly sealed :( , GZI mount is missing.
