Set off with Rick Monkey for a suicide mission to Denbigh with the half baked idea that we had to get to the hospital before it was either ritualistically burnt down for some crappy pay TV channel or demolished in order to make way for a prison/housing estate.

The more time we spent preparing for this explore the more the hype surrounding the TV idiots plans for this place increased.

Suddenly the North Wales Hospital became the village of the dammed, grinning fools were to be strapped in pretend straitjackets and placed in a padded cell, in order to participate in a "timeslip experiment" so as to uncover what exactly happened to people that were originally in the asylum; i.e. they were placed in a straightjacket and a padded cell.

Anyway in order to prevent this from being an exploitation of the mentally ill and North Wales' mental health history we were also told that the ground on which the hospital was built was "believed" to stand on ground cursed by witches that were burnt there. May have also have been the local housing estate next door, but that's not good for TV or house prices in that area.

Anyway here's some pictures of my day spent with the lame ghostbusters

some spooky goings on in this chapel that is "supposed" be burnt down, parapsychological chipboard has emerged

even stranger these buckets were full of pure ectoplasm

inside the hospital we were relieved not everything had become part of the unnatural minor satellite TV channel circus

but by the time we reached this row of spectral shitters we were starting to feel an unnatural presence ourselves

even the morgue was not safe from the self-proclaimed paranormal investigators in search of advetising revenue

    night four cameras

anyway our thanks to the nice polite security man who led us out of the main gates and also to the quick way to our cars parked safely near the castle :thumb

We also had a look at the old Asylum farm (Pennant Farm) currently being converted into residential property, given the current credit climate: a new addition to the village of the dammed no doubt. Note the Turdis lurking in the foreground.
