One of many trips to Denbigh It has to be my most favorite explore ever!!!

    Bit of history

    In the Beginning

The North Wales hospital also known as Denbigh Mental Institution or Asylum was the first psychiatric hospital to be built in Wales. The building was built between 1846 and 1848.Denbigh Mental Institution was built due to the appalling treatment of monoglot (People who are only able to speak one language). A lot of Welsh people were suffering from mental illnesses and were forced to seek help from English asylums due to the lack of bilingual professional help.
