Today we revisit A former mental hospital / Psychiatric hospital located in Durham city centre in the north of England.
On our first visit There where patrolling security guards so we waited till they went for dinner and we had to literally be in and out within half an hour, Today we drove by the place to discover there was no security at all so we could do a more in depth exploration of the place. it was an unplanned visit but we where taking full advantage of the situation haha, hope you enjoy guys :)

Here's a little history about the place.
Durham county hospital was erected in 1853 and could hold 44 patients.
Additional wards were added, These where opened December 2, 1886. and could house up to 50 patients.
The site closed in 2010 following completion of the new £24 million Lanchester Road Hospital.
Since 2010 the site has remained vacant. In 2014 planning permission was granted to demolish The building.
