Denmark is small and we don't have that many new abandoned places every month. But fortunately, we are neighbours to Germany where the places are numerous!

I've been there a few times now and this report is from the Eastern part of Germany. Btw. the pictures are not HDRi ;-)

The first place to visit on my DK - Germany roundtrip is a city not far from Berlin. It's a pretty classic place and I know that a lot 28'ers have been there.

After a 7 hours car-trip, we went there very late in the evening and the city was totally empty and nothing else to do than going to bed  and we decided to get up early next morning to go straight to the spot. IF we just knew that the spot was 200 meters from our hotel, we would for sure go and shoot some night pictures. But it has to be on the next visit then...

The area (city) is huge, but the place is very trashy and messed up now. I wish I knew that place, just three years ago.

A few pictures from the place:

#1 - One of the buildings in the area. There was a nice basement in the building, but too dark to take any good shots.

#2 - Played a bit with off-shoe flash here in the long hallways. One moment the wind was blowing through the building and all the doors slammed  Speak about ghost hunting

#3 - This build had this first floor where the wooden floor was rotten. My tripod was going through the wood and I guess it could be a bit dangerous to walk there - so I didn't!

Later we went to another city in eastern Germany, where we head about this abandoned hotel. It is placed close to a lake and is well hidden in the woods. Unfortunately it was a total mess and some stupid people had the pleasure to spray it all over and do inside fireplaces...

This picture is from the first evening in the city and it was dark and I have to warn you - don't enter barb-wired areas in the darkness....

The day after we went to the last city on the roundtrip. We've googled som info about the old factory and took the chance to go there. It was raining and we've used 20 minutes to find the way inside the building.

Right away, we headed for the second floor and I turned around one corner in the large building. 100 feets away there was two security guys standing and had a chat. Almost made some bad stuff in my underwear here.....

I don't think they noticed me and we hurried out and was sitting in the car, the next 15 minutes. We wondered what the heck some security guys could do in an old and empty building. later we would find out...

Getting dry in the car after all the rain, we decided to go back. Sneaking a bit more this time, just to be sure that nobody could see us.

First room that looked interested was entered and there the reson for security guys was! We scared the hell out of a poor guy in the room, sitting down and pulling cobber out of old wires. I guess i lifted 2 feets above the ground when he found out that he wasn't alone anymore.

I explained with my poor German language that we just were taking some pictures and if he could shut up, we could shut up. I told him about the security guys and his eyes rotated a few times :D

Anyway, heres is a picture of the building where I would like to go again one day.
