Just a little bitty baby one for you today - an absolute shithole of a sheep slaughterhouse, with a hidden gem - an old steam pump thingy in the ice house off to the side of the ruins.

I have no clue about the history of this - it's located in a decaying dump of a town, with a kebab factory (mmh) and a band practice facility taking up some of the still usable rooms in the locality. While poking around the place, we found absolutely nothing of photographic interest; the convoluted overhead rail system aside (which allowed butchered carcasses to be easily moved between the refrigeration rooms, the slaughterhouse, and the processing facilities). Unfortunately the massive antique ice generator underground didn't lend itself to photography due to space constraints and some awkward angles.

The whole thing absolutely reeked of decay and rot and shit and burned I-don't-want-to-know-what, and some of the local citizenry had started using it as a trash depot for derelict furniture. No, seriously, "shithole" is about the most astute term for it. Let's leave it at that and assume it was just trash that we smelled. What a wonderful place to dispose of a body, eh?
