Wanted to get this one in before the weather clags in for the week.
25 Floor/230Ft Residential Tower right next to Canary Wharf.
Tower 1 is the tallest and despite having topped out is a little behind in development compared to its two smaller sisters close by

Each Tower has its own Crane, freestanding and not attached to the building.
Winds were high on the ground and very high and gusty just a few floors up....the cranes were a rocking an 'a' rolling and I really didnt fancy them in these conditions...they are only just higher than the top level as well.

Access obvious...but security is close by and very active (3 patrols observed)
Once in and after the usual manic ...'chicken with its head cut off' dance around a well lit basement level...stairwell was located :D
Just as I was about to take the shot...some bugger turned off The O2's nice blue lights..damn ! but still some cracking views of it and Canary Wharf... on the way up.

Up on top the views just got better...

The Crane up top was so close...it was moving around alot and the sign flapping some...

A quick prayer to the ballast weight gods , that it wouldnt slip, before walking underneath it for really good inspection of the gantry...awesome to be so close :D

Quick peek over the sides.....but not too far in the high and gusty winds... !!

Heres the second tower....a little smaller

Coming back down....just enough time to practice my 'invisible man' technique for getting in and out :D

These towers have had quite a bit of stick over their design....
I dunno...I think the views if nothing else will make 'em great !:thumb
