So Who Lived in a house like this?

These residential places are so hard to find history on, which is frustrating.
When I saw this house come up on various sites and @BrainL 's great post on it here, I thought it may have been an older man's property, as there really isn't a homely feel. After visiting this time capsule, it seems to have been a holiday retreat for families, but mostly those who like to hunt, as the area is well advertised to be so. The house is just so beautiful, set off a narrow leafy lane with no driveway.

The House stands proud, inviting you in.[IMG]
It's not everyday you come across such an individual looking property.

The kitchen straight out of the 70's. There was a can of baxter's soup with expiry 2014.
Family board games were in the cupboard too.

Hunting details everywhere, from lights to antlers.

Upstairs was so clean with a few signs of it being stood still, estimated at 2012 from some letters that were round the house.

The bathroom airing cupboard had bag of weed in!

All in all, this was peaceful explore, beautiful drive but on the creepy side, so tidy in places apart from a few items moved for those who set up items. There were also two baby snakes that have disappeared.

Thanks to @Saviour2016 for teaching me how to make reports better :)

Lovely shots!! Really like the B&W... I think it was some kind of holiday home as well, certainly wasn't a family home anyway.. to be honest I was never too keen on this place as it was all just too clean and think lots of people agreed to be honest.. not the kind of place I'd explore again anyway :)

 Haha I know Brian, we hit 4 on this trip. One being the RAF at Tilcock, so I enjoyed that. This was just plain weird... But glad I went even though it creeped me out a little! My friend loved it, each to their own.
