The Fieldhead children's home in Lindley is a Grade II Listed building. The building has received interest recently as Kirkless Council decided to sell of numerous derelict sites, this one included. Plans have been submitted to convert Fieldhead into a facility for weddings and a restaurant. And it seems to have ruled out an asset transfer bid by a community group to turn the derelict building into a community centre. Recently visited here to find out there is high security, motion sensor cameras that set off an alarm. It took some almost James Bond style techniques to get past these cameras and find a way into this wonderful building but I managed and here are a few shots. With the exception of the first two images the rest are all shot on Kodak Portra 400 on a Minolta Dynax.
