    It has come to our attention that Flickr are adding extra lines of code to their image links, creating a backlink to the flickr website at the bottom of each picture.

    An example...

    Washing Up Time by vmlopes, on Flickr

    If you intend to use flickr (we recommend photobucket) then make sure you know how to add the picture only.

    With immediate effect, users are not permitted to use these links, any pictures with these links will be deleted.

    How to add images from Flickr:

    On the image you want to use, click "Share this" then click "Grab the HTML/BBCode".
    Select the size you want - either of the two medium sizes are acceptable, no larger. Click the "BBCode" button.
    From the box, copy the code - it should all be in square brackets not pointy brackets - [] not <>.
    Important: There will be two lines - we only want the first one which gives the image, not the second one which gives a text link.

    The bit you copy from Flickr should look like this:

    We don't want the second bit which looks like this:

    [url=http://www.flickr.com/photos/yournamehere/123456789/]Image title[/url]
    by [url=http://www.flickr.com/people/yournamehere/]Your Name[/url], on Flickr
    Paste what you've copied into your report.

    For those using Firefox download Forum Tags Plus, an add on which, when you're on the Flickr image page where you can select the sizes of the image, right click and then 'tag' it before pasting it into the report. Adds the photo without the annoying linking beneath it.

    I use Flickr for my images and that is an absolute lifesaver.
