    Hi Everyone,

So this is a report on Rin tin Cottages, Christmas House, Dream House or whatever else they have been called in the past.
I guess the most famous is Christmas house as an explorer took it upon herself to decorate the cottage and every one who followed thought it been has been abandoned around the festive time.

However not true as dream house/Christmas house has long been empty. It's called east view, not as fun I know.
Next door neighbours (flower patch) cottage has been looking after the grounds.

@GRONK did a great report with a street view from 2011. But wow has this place gone down hill.

However, I love houses that once were a family house, couples growing old together, you can sense the essence of their life.

East view really was untouched for many years, with no bathroom, just a lovely out house with a bucket.

This places always provoke questions...How long had it been since it heard the laughter of a precious child? How long had it been since it felt the coolness of fresh paint or contained the fragrance of Sunday dinner?

Contents have been moved around since this has first appeared, setting items up for shots. I just like to go in and see what treasures are still be be seen.

Flower patch, cottage on the left is a little more modern, you can see from the garden it's a beautiful spot.

Planning permission was put into the council for demolition but it's been rejected, so who knows how long they'll be here for.

Oh and it's a great place if you like dead birds in kitchen draws, shrugs shoulders.

    On with the photos...

It really is a fantastic place, I just stumbled upon it as I was driving past.

I do seem to remember a bit more glass in the place in May last year and those TV's have been moved a few times. lol

Great photos, nice to see it again. :)
