Some nice pics, probably not what most would see as exploring though...

Sorry, but I'm from Stockport and even I don't find that very interesting so anyone else will have a real WTF. How are they "forgotten" a lot of them are well known spots. There's a few places in Stockport you could do some proper exploring if you wanted.

Agreed, half of it isn't even derelict.

Nice photos, but they don't really have a place on this forum. Take photos of derelict mills and you'll get some interest...

Ok, sorry for wasting everybodys time then if I misunderstood the 'rules' I didn't realise everything photographed had to be a abandoned When I said 'forgotten' in the title I didn't actually mean forgotten in the sense that no one had seen it in years. If I have committed a 28 days later faux pas then I'd be grateful if the admin team here would delete this posting and all of the photos.

No need for that, thanks for joining in and take the points on board

There's plenty of abandoned sites within a stones throw of Stockport, get on it :thumb

Although this is not to most people's tastes here I do like your work. Is there a reason you chose these particular places?

It would be interesting to see your photography from an actual derelict location.

Its not so much the fact that they aren't abandoned that's the problem. Things dont have to be abandoned to explore them. Its that they are just photos taken from the street. The whole point of UE is that you're going somewhere that you can't 'just go', places that are usually off limits to the public.

Thanks for a sensible reply tho. Lots of people would get upperty about it.

Although I agree that this is not really the ideal place for these sorts of photos, they are still very nice shots, it's the kind of thing i want to get into doing more.

Do you have a flickr account or anything like that, as I'd like to see more of your work.
