I wasnt sure about putting this on here as its getting abit repetitive,
but considering I was staying across the road it would of been rude not too. :D
I met at least 4 members & non members, (as expected) while visiting.
I cant remember your user names, but nice meeting you all.

    Forum Cinema, Liverpool by stranton

Built during 1930 & opened on 16th May 1931 as the Forum cinema,
designed by Alfred ernest Shennan (exterior) & William R Glen (interior).
Became the ABC in 1971 & Cannon in 1986,
it was converted to 3 screens in 1982, although there wasnt much evidence of this.
The curved facade is made of portland stone,
the foyer is lined with marble & the auditorium has a proscenium arch seating 1835.
    closed on 28th january 1998,
Currently in the process of being converted to an entertainment venue
the building is grade 2 listed.

I really like that. I know it has been done a lot, but I love the old style cinemas that prospered in the golden age, especially now that everything is on DVD, they just don't make them like that anymore. Definatley looks like a worthwhile mooch. Cheers for posting.

To be fair to you mate, although the location has been repeated many times, you seem to have covered the lesser seen bits.

    Nice photos :)
