Visited late afternoon and evening with Disco and Riddlers.

Ridds and DK did the morgue while I looked for the way in. Found it and we met up and went inside.

Note to Stumpy, Zippy and Clayderman - it's the same place we identified on previous visits.

Top explore. The buildings look like they would be wrecked from the outside but, at the moment, there's no graffiti or malicious damage, just proper decay.

The hospital has had a recent strange lifecycle. At some point, the patients were moved out of the top two floors, and admin have moved in to some of the old wards, in many cases the ward fixtures and fittings were still there - bet they enjoyed that.

Some of the places we saw...

Records stores... loads of them. Details of every operation since the late 80s.
The radio room, gutted but still had some equipment and soundproof tiles.
The crutches room - a room full of crutches on hangers.
The operating theatres - superb. Maybe 4 or 5 of them. Takes your breath away. The large lights still glide freely. Lots of equipment still there.
Intensive care - separate rooms with the associated kit.
The X-ray suite - massive. I'm sure we saw an X-Ray machine in a corridor. Not the safest place for it to be. Maybe it's a present for the chavs. The X-Ray consultants rooms still had the 'light-boards' with X-Ray photos attached.

We didn't get to see the childrens wing. Also, there's no sign of catering on site. There is however a demolished section at the point end of the site - maybe?

A top explore, get in there SOON while it's still in relatively good condition.
