Eastmoor Secure Unit - Leeds 28/04

This place is pretty amazing, there are so many buildings to this site it's quite spectacular. Amongst them are a school, communal accomodation and a church. It used to be a Childrens Correctional Facility for up to 34 children up to 16 years of age with over 200 admissions a year. A lot of the place is very secure but we were inventive. We managed to see the accomodation in full but there is still plenty more for us to see so we shall be back.

Its an amazing place, we felt like we were in some post apocolyptic world! There is so much to do and the setting is beautiful, as well as secluded enough to run around in. Here are some of my photos from our day... The interior shows around the (quite dull) dorms and a canteen area.
