Remains of an old brickworks on the coast of Anglesey visited last weekend. It was operated from 1850 to 1914, and there are three beehive kilns remaining. The clay was brought from the hilltop by aerial tramway, from a nearby quarry, and the finished bricks left by boat.

Yep, that truly is an awesome find. Any chance of a multimap link? I have a potential site to check out in Anglesey and that could be a good backup visiti too!

It's amazing how much is left standing and those kilns are amazing

There's loads of interesting stuff around Anglesey, we didn't get time to see all of the places we wanted to, and some of the places we visited were far too ancient to be considered as UE.

The brickworks are near the top centre of the map, marked as 'ruin':

The coast path goes around the top of the cliff, and there are easy ways to get down.
