I'd like to say this is a full report, but when I got into the post I found my torch batteries were dead!
This post is completely overgrown by nettles, and rubbish is littered round it.
Heres the hatch, it has been ripped off, and is just resting over the shaft. Those 2 bars sticking out to the left are the hinge springs:

I stoop atop the hatch and took this shot, which is aimed directly at the ventillation shaft. You can hardly make it out as it has been completely nettled-under

This is my second ROC post visited, and I notice that the entry shaft is a lot tighter than the first post I went to. Also note the rust on the slider, and the paint decay:

I stared down the shaft with immense disappointment. I could see the junk and rubble immediately:

When I got down there, I realised something, my torch batteries were dead, so I could only get these very faint shots with my poor mobile phone flash. It absolutely stank of piss, and as you can see it has been totally trashed since subbrits visit in 1999. It is full of rubble and wood, and the tiles have been torn away.
I have brightened these pictures with photoshop but theyre still poor quality:

Oh, and the sump pump has been removed
I will go back by the weekend with a torch and get some better shots.
Thanks for looking everyone!
Andy
