Its almost a week ago now and I'm still rushing off this. It was completely unlike what I'd expected. The long hand quarried tunnels, the street names and signs, the rooms and signs of life... I don't know, there's so much to say about this place and its been said so well before.

A massive thanks to OT for the trip and the exceptional information and navigation. Thanks to Hammy for his navigation too, the placebo sense of saftey afforded by seeing his rope and his snoring which drowned out the passing metro. And to Sinnerman and Naatje for all the laughs and clattering.

My favourite moments were; sitting in the tunnels full of bones looking at the indents of the viens inside the old skulls, being at the front, wading through the crystal clear water with everybody's head-torches refracting in it. And a magnificent breakfast of cold Lancashire hot-pot:D

It was an amaing experience, I'd go back like a shot and highly reccommend it though it is pretty damned physically demanding!
