Cambrian Mine NE Wales - 09/06/07

We planned to check out the wynne mines but got foiled by 3 guard peacocks and a dog plus the land owner lmao ooops quick blag (dont think she belived us or was just shocked) but sent us away with directions for the walking path i had a map of on me ;)

Thanksfully i had a backup place to visit.....

In an attempt to light up the BIG caverns and across the mini lakes inside heres my poor light painting attempt. bear in mind some of these are with 2 low powered torches. extremely dusty mine and pitch black. great :(

Very poor quality sorry but the rock on other side thats just about painted up is other side the deep water..

Warning :confused: : If your gonna go here take lots of torches, waterproof boots (or waders) and MUST HAVE a face mask for the dust. we took some disposable face masks and they did the job although there clogged up luike mad now and lobbe din the bin for sure.

Also the slate is VERY soft, all way through the mine youll see loads of fallen down slate. attempt to climb any of it and youll notice it crumbles in your hand. so you can imagine how unsafe it is. found myself telling my mate to stop shouting many a times
