Whittingham Asylum Preston

Went down there with Azubi, Piggypoo, 'tresspassing you say'? and a couple of others. Special thanks to Azubi and 'tresspassing you say?' for being our guides for the evening :)

I was amazed at how big the place actually was.

Spent a good 3 hours in there and left just as it was getting dark.

Started by climbing the water tower to take a few pics. I am scared of hights i can't really believe I went up there?!?! The view from the top was well worth it though. Would have stayed up there much longer but security were hanging round outsite so we had to make a run for it. This really got the adrenaline going and set the mood for the rest of the evening for me.

I really really enjoyed it there but I get the idea I haven't seen the half of it. I want to go back as soon as I can. I also want to go in to the tunnels.

This was my first exploration and I was left fully pleased.

With a bit more time, we would have been able to get round a bit more I reckon. I did ask Radioman if he was gonna come because he knows the place a hell of alot more than me, but he said he couldn't make it.

Anyway, I saw quite a bit I hadn't seen before and I had a good time. Some nice pictures there Jonesy. Nice one.
I only took a few and they weren't spectacular. Anyway here they are.

went again today. only spent an hour inside.... went in some places not been yet. me and whittingham still have unfinished business though.

walked all the way round the perimeter also which was pretty cool.

had a quick gander into whit yesterday as had a spare hour before work, wanted to try the water tower but the guards were in the field opposite being very weird so just took a few pics in one of the buildings, came across this little room just wondered what it would have been , also a lovely hygienic toilet
